Directions

For increased rate of weight gain, improved feed efficiency, and improved pigmentation for growing chickens and growing turkeys

Mix contents of this pouch in 250 U.S. gallons (946 liters) of drinking water. Stir vigorously. Give continuously through growing period.

Automatic water proportioner use

To make concentrated solution, mix pouch contents in 2 U.S. gallons (7.6 liters) water. Set proportioner to deliver 1 fluid ounce (30 ml) of this solution per gallon (3.8 liters) of drinking water. (Either mode of administration provides 0.002% active drug concentration in drinking water.)

As an aid in the treatment of swine dysentery (hemorrhagic enteritis or bloody scours)

Mix contents of this pouch in 50 U.S. gallons (189 liters) of drinking water. Stir vigorously. Give for no more than 6 successive days. If no improvement is observed, consult a veterinarian. Treatment may be repeated after 5 days off medication.

Automatic proportioner use

To make concentrated solution, mix pouch contents in 3 pints (1.4 liters) of water and set proportioner to deliver 1 fluid ounce (30 ml) of this solution per gallon (3.8 liters) of drinking water. (Either mode of administration provides 0.01% drug in water.) Pigs may be treated individually with a drench of 1 fluid ounce (30ml) of the concentrated solution per 50 pounds (22.7 kilograms) of body weight, once daily for 1 to 2 days.

Caution

In case of swine dysentery, treated animals must consume enough medicated water to provide a therapeutic dose. Drug overdosage may result in leg weakness or paralysis. Use only as directed. Do not administer to birds or animals that have been without water or that have become severely dehydrated.

Warning

Withdraw 5 days before slaughter.

Information

Use as the sole source of organic arsenic.

In mixing, avoid inhaling this powder. Avoid contact of product with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Induce vomiting by giving Ipecac Syrup as directed.
