Drug Facts

Active Ingredients (in each 5 mL teaspoon)

Aluminum hydroxide (equivalent to dried gel, USP) 600 mg

Purposes

Antacid

Use

relieves:

  • heartburn
  • acid indigestion
  • sour stomach
  • upset stomach due to these symptoms
  • overindulgence in food and drink

Warnings

Ask a doctor or pharmacist if you are taking a prescription drug. Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs.

When using this product constipation may occur.

Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms last more than 2 weeks.

Keep out of reach of children.

Directions

  • shake well
  • take 1-2 teaspoons between meals, at bedtime, or as directed by a doctor
  • do not take more than 3 teaspoonfuls in a 24-hour period, or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks

Other information

  • each teaspoon contains: potassium 10 mg, sodium 1 mg
  • do not use if break away band on plastic cap is broken or missing
  • store between 20-25°C (68-77°F)
  • do not freeze

alcohol, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylparaben, caramel color, flavors, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium, potassium citrate, propylparaben, purified water, simethicone emulsion, sorbitol solution
